Weekly Veress From Holy BIBLE 22-08-2010

''If you confess with your mouth your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justfied, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, Anyone who trusts in Him never be put to sham. '' Romans 10:9 11

Weekly Prayers Letter 22-08-2010

Jesus is Lord! The Bible says that our Lord Jesus Christ is ''the King of King and the Lord of Lord.''

What does this mean? A Lord is someone who is in charge, who runs things, who has authority. In past days someone might be called th lord in his business if he is in charges. So to be called the ''Lord of Lord'' means you are in superme authority, over all other lords, the master of everything.

Jesus Christ truly the Lord of Lord.He is our master. He has all wisdom and all authority. The Bible tells the story of a man who went on a long jurney and when he was away he entrusted his estate to others. He was gone, but he was still the mast of the estate. When he returned, he once again took charge, becasuse the estate was still his even when he was gone.

So, too, Jesus Christ has gone into heaven, but He is still Lord. One day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. The wonderful news is that our Lord Jesus Christ not only is all powerful, He is also loving and kind and good and forgiving. So while we are here on this earth we have the privilege of bowing the knee to our Lord Jesus. We should serve Him and obey Christ and make Him the Lord of every area of our lives.

So, this week, let us pray and

  •    Ask Jesus Christ be the Lord of every part of our lives
  •    Ask God to help all your family and loved ones accept Jesus Christ as Savior
  •    Ask Christ to establish His Lordship over the entire earth--''May Your Kingdom come''
Thank you so much for pray

Can You Trust God's Love?

Scripture: "The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease." Lamentations 3:22

The Worst Feeling

Do you know the feeling of being about to run out of gas? It’s awful. You’re there, heart pounding, looking down at your gas gauge, certain that every weird sound is your car sputtering down to empty and stranding you in the worst possible location. Because typically you only run out of gas at the worst possible time.

Baptism,Coming Close to God

Scripture: "But You, O Lord, are a God of compassion and mercy, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness." Psalm 86:15

Hard to Get Close

Do you fear God getting really mad at you anytime you do something wrong? I know how you feel.  I used to always think I was disappointing God, frustrating Him, or just making Him angry. I couldn’t approach a God like that, fearing that He would just punish me if I came near. The third way God described Himself in Exodus 34:6 is patient, or slow to anger. But I couldn’t see Him that way, no matter how hard I tried.

Witness with Joy & Caring

Scripture: "Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world." (1 Peter 2:12).

An older woman was in the hospital, recovering from an accident. Her nurse noticed that her family came to visit every day, and that all of them, including the patient, were full of joy, in spite of her condition.
One day, one of these visitors gathered the group for prayer, and asked the nurse to join them as well.

The Wonder of Praying

Scripture: "So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of His will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding." (Colossians 1:9).

Every now and then, a person in the news will capture my attention. When this happens, I try to pray for them. People pay attention to celebrities; they have a lot of power to influence others -- for good or for evil. I pray that those famous people will come to know the Lord and respect His ways, so they themselves can receive God's blessing, and because of their influence, share it with others.

Don't Forget to Forgive

Scripture"When you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.” (Mark 11:25)

What does forgiveness look like? Some describe it as giving up the right to revenge or the obligation to "get even." Perhaps you have heard the phrase "forgive and forget." I think God’s forgiveness looks more like that, because He said of Himself, "I will blot out your sins and will never think of them again" (Isaiah 43:25).

Share Love

Hello! Today is the day we share love, the greatest thing on earth.  Love is what makes us feel safe and valuable. It is our deepest need.  But many people don’t feel loved; they have never had someone love them unconditionally!  But God can give us the love we are looking for.

Healing,Healing for Your Soul

Scripture: "Come to Me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

Is Your Soul Troubled?

I know you've been battling a lot of things in your soul. Worry about your future, regret over mistakes, consuming fear about what others think about you. It can be so overwhelming. God does not want you to live this way. He has a spacious, green, beautiful land for your soul to rest in, and He is inviting you into it. I want you to read the following promise from God to you out loud, and insert your name into it, because it's exactly what God wants to do for you

Faith for the Faithless

Scripture: "Lord, I have faith.  Help my weak faith to be stronger!” ." Mark 9:24
What would our lives be like if we believed the way God deserves to be believed in?  What would our lives be like if we trusted in Jesus the way He called His followers to trust?  What would our lives be like if we had faith that the Holy Spirit lives within us to comfort, to teach, to guide, and more?

Nothing can separate us from God's love

No matter what, God loves us!  As followers of Christ, we can be closer to God, working to follow His will and share His love with others.
Paul the Apostle wrote in his letter to the Roman Christians, “I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  (Romans 8:38-39)
God’s plan for the future of Earth and humanity might be beyond our understanding; and yet, He reveals Himself and His will to us at times.
In the Old Testament, we read the story of Creation, of God’s promise to Abraham and Sarah, of how God tried to show the children of Israel the Way to righteousness.  He declared to His people, “‘I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for well-being and not for trouble, to give you a future and a hope.  Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.  You will look for Me and find Me, when you look for Me with all your heart.’”  (Jeremiah 29:11-13)
We read in the New Testament of the Way God provided.  Today, we accept God’s promise of finding Him when we look for Him in faith and trust Him with all our hearts.

Apologetic, Forgive Those Who Hurt You Long Ago

Scripture"Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behaviour. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you" (Ecclesiastes 1:9)

When someone hurts you or you experience an injustice, God knows about it. In fact, of course, He knows every wrong that has ever occurred on earth, as well as the good things. "His understanding has no limit" (Psalm 147:5), and He knows that, as with all human action, "it has all been done before" (Ecclesiastes 1:9).

The Lord Prayer,Keep Showing God's Love!

Scripture: "I want you to know how much I have agonised for you and for the church at Laodicea, and for many other believers who have never met me personally. I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ Himself. In Him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." (Colossi ans 2:1-3).

Will you pray this week:
•That God will help you and your five people maintain strong ties of love
•That God will give you complete confidence in Christ
•That you will consistently show love and respect for your family
•Encourage people worldwide to start praying, caring and sharing Jesus with the lost and around them.
•That your five people will accept salvation
